i went to wimbledon yesterday with lisa…..
we set off with umbrellas and lisa had baked some gluten free muffins…
other snacks were taken…
we got glorious weather…
and we both just loved being there…
some tickets to centre court would also have been nice…
in the meantime we got positioned on the hill in the sun…
in a private area…
and enjoyed the game on centre court on the large screen..
a dragon fly landed on my thigh and it was so beautiful…
lisa took a picture and it’s an omen of good luck…
we took turn’s checking the line for resale of tickets for centre court and court one that was not moving and people had been there since 10a.m….
anna wintour was on the large screen…and pippa middleton who got lots of wolf whistles!!!
finally we got some tickets for court 1…
or wait for centre court…
decisions???
we were trying to work out which game would last longer…
nadal???? or andy murray????…
we turned down court 1..
and waited for over half and hour for centre court tickets…
we raced to centre court…
got in to see andy murray for ten minutes and win the game…
meanwhile on court 1…
nadal was still going…
we were gutted!!!!
we chose the court, not the player…
the thing and not the person…
lesson learnt!!!!
we both don’t even like andy murray!!!
so we raced back to court 1…
as there was a boring mens double match that followed on centre court…no stars…
and the nadal game just ended…
lisa scored some tickets for us and we went to court 1 and watched a women’s double match which was much more fun…
all the while realizing that we had missed and hour and half of seeing nadal do his magic in the flesh..
still that didn’t ruin the best day!!!!
i was in the new studio yesterday with mark….
it’s MUCH bigger than the last……at least five times with two floors…
one is reception and kitchen space upstairs…
it’s much more glamourous and i love it!!!
also it’s in angel so i can walk past all the nice shops on the way to the studio from the train station…
love it!!!!
mark worked on the music yesterday and its sounding really good…
i did alot of listening…
at one point he asked me a ? and i was thinking of venus williams and how fast her serves are (speed of over 100 mph)
i watched a game by chance the day before whilst shelling peas..
it was fantastic!!!!
so happy with how our song is going…
came home and watched a bit more tennis!!!
wimbledon is beckoning!!!

i took a bunch of my old vogues with me to the doctors……
to leave in the waiting room..
i was there to get the results of my blood tests for everything….
he was very happy….everything is good!!!!
all organs working well…
the only thing is my cholesterol level is slightly high…
with all the running and exercise i’m doing it should bring it down…
i forgot to ask for a print out..
as lisa wants to compare charts so to speak..
so i’ll pop back for the print out
met my sponsor this morning at 9.a.m. for a breakfast meet….
i had a hot chocolate but passed on the croissant….
i’m being drawn to foods that are aiding my fitness regime…
we went through my third step….
and she gave me a card to celebrate which was very sweet…
we also talked of tennis…
as i said i’m on a mission!!!
on the way back i bumped into the tennis coach i have been meaning to call…
he has classes twice a week in the park…
on the court..
from 9.am. till 11a.m….
at a really good price…
you play with a bunch of other ladies..
another example of my higher power sorting it out for me…
easily and effortlessly!!!

what i’ve been up to lately……..
shopping for new luggage to take to paris…
and although it say’s in parisian chic …Ines de la fressange style guide…to only have black luggage..
i bought orange…
a weekend case and a larger one….there really cute…
with wheels…i need wheels…
maria cybelle was in shock with the amount of outfits i took to paris last trip….
and she carried it for me…
so boy will she be pleased this time…
my running is going well…..
two laps round the park today… !!!
now i’m attempting to recruit a tennis partner…
to add to my fitness regime which i’m so into…
got to buy a racquet first…
popped into tiffanys today….
as my airplane and globe keyring needed a new globe…
they always just give me a new one…
there sooooooo classy..
i drooled over some more of there elsa peretti jewelry ..
and then off to the salon for a color..
what i’ve been up to lately……..
buying new bed linen and sleeping in it and it’s heaven!!!
buying two new cook books and finding two new recipes i adore…
shelling pea’s for one of them…
eating tagliatelle…….with my pea’s and lemon zest and creme….
eating spaghetti…..with asparagus, chili and fresh mint…
delicious…!!!
practicing my new song JUST about every day…
happy with a third of the vocal and need to re record the rest…
mark sent me an email saying….
practice…practice….PRACTICE………
i attended a wedding…..it was held in richmond park….and i have to say it was de………lovely!!!
it was great to see a couple so clearly in love and happy to be tying the knot…
they wrote there own vows and it was very moving…
we all shed a few tears!!
it also was my first recovery wedding….
we all drank out of beautiful individual teacups and saucers so regardless of what you were drinking…
champagne , juice or tea everybody raised the same cups for the toasts…
loved it and the waiters poured the drinks from teapots so again you couldn’t tell…
the sun came out…after hailstones earlier in the morning..
it felt more a spiritual ceremony and i think thats why i liked it so much!!!!
