sometimes i think i’ll give up trying & just go completely Russian & sit on a stove & moan all day

this morning i woke to the first snow of the year…..

loved it!!!!

stomped to work in my stella mccartney boots…

and later raj and me went off to buy a christmas tree….

real of course and red berries for the shop…

it felt so in the christmas spirit…

with falling snow through our large glass windows all day…

everyone wearing hats…

except me..

tomorrow i’m taking in my tree decorations from past years to dress the tree….

arnel kept singing let it snow…

it was really sweet!!!

as i absorbed life here and understood it better…….i just completely fell in love with england

we had gwyneth in the shop thursday…..anna kept on going on about how beautiful she was and cooing and gushing….not in front of her….thank goodness!!!!!

marta had no idea who she was which is just the way i prefer it…

when we told her later she commented on how skinny she was..in her opinion too skinny…

what can i say she was loverly….

and loved the food and commented on how great our display looked which really pleased mekeeping it in the day….

it’s super cold here…

went to my meet and came home to watch mad men and chant…

now about to watch x factor……

it’s pointless resisting

it was never like somebody pushed me to sing……because i wanted to do it

just got out of the bath…..

reading the sunday’s and loved the images by nick haddow for my safe place…

this is one that wasn’t featured in the magazine….

with my beloved paris and the eiffel tower….

the lavin for h & m sale starts tuesday…

and luckily i don’t like anything or i would be rather upset…

i have an engagement ring…which is my favorite accessory

it’s all about the engagement of prince william and kate……or katherine as she is now to be known..

i rang my mother today and she said she hopes that the beautiful ring that diana chose that kate is now wearing isn’t cursed…

as diana didn’t have a happy marriage…

beautiful ring….

i think it’s sweet that her son is using it as a way to make her part of his engagement……

it has been sad to see that awful moment replayed in the news when prince charles and diana announced there engagement and when prince charles was asked were they in love..

diana answered of course and prince charles said whatever love is…

she went bright red…

so sad!!!

there is nothing like staying at home for real comfort

reading…watching movies….

getting early nights and have just started jane austin’s pride and prejudice…

even today after my sat ur day meet i just wanted to come home…

have been listening to my new track with drums and sounding really good…

 

shut the front door….

friday i went to a work dinner as the area manager is leaving………..

i stuck with my gang pretty much….

wore my mui mui shoes and stella mcartney wrap dress….

got lots of compliments….also about my eyes..

it was fun…

i really like the people i work with…

sat ur day off to the meet….then met amanda at the electric for lunch before the movie…

she is now a red head…

we chit chatted…

the amount of children with there groovy notting hill parents was getting to amanda…

she was like …..why can’t they leave them at home…

i would!!!

the movie we went to see was the kid’s are alright…

well in amanda opinion definitly NOT in members clubs…

loved it…

some of my favourite actor’s…

and am still thinking about the movie today..

it had a sparseness that was really unusual..

my favourite saying from it i have put in the title…

also adored mark ruffalo’s character’s  restuarant…

and the hair style sported by his on…off girlfriend…

patience is the ability to count down before you blast off

in the studio yesterday….

there was a tube strike and i didn’t even know because i hardly ever use it, keeping it local..

anyway i got to the studio so easily,some stations were open and the one’s i needed were….

we were laying down the drum track…

mark had a great drummer ….he did a fantastic job…

i was in the booth reading grazia magazine’s, listening on the headphones and making the odd tea for the boys…

i listened to the track over and over and over and loved it…

it’s sooooooo good…

i couldn’t help singing along when i was out of the booth it ‘s damn catchy!!!

i could feel myself getting impatient…

to get the track finished…

to get more songs recorded…

it’s just NOT happening fast enough!!!!!

i went to a spiritual meet after…

and tonight i called someone re my music  in paris…who gave me some label to contact in paris…….

i will also send the track to her when its finished…

she said i sound impatient too!!!
